Millsaps College Ford Fellowship

Fall 2018 Teaching Project: EDUC 2750-Inquiry within STEM Education 

This is a unique opportunity since the education department is in the process of revamping its curriculum. Consequently, we are granted to the opportunity for open collaboration in the Inquiry within STEM Education course incorporates multimodal communication and feature a community-engaged learning (CEL) experience with the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science.

Kasi's responsibilities include coordinating the math field experience component that aligns with the mission of CEL for Millsaps and designing at least one math related course assignment for the students (i.e., pre-service teachers). Other responsibilities for the class include, but are not limited to: co-construct the course syllabus, determine what and how to assess student work, co-teaching, and provide any assistance students may need throughout the semester.
