Writing is a complex process often also necessitating external perspective to ensure a high quality product. If students want Dr. Wallace to review and chapter of their dissertation, instrument design, and/or IRB materials, then they need to book a time for her to focus on these needs.
THINGS I WILL NEED...
- The type of feedback you are looking for from the review period.
- A shareable link to the document:
- This link must include access to comment or edit so she can leave feedback directly in the document you want.
WHY DO STUDENTS NEED A RESERVATION FOR DR. WALLACE TO REVIEW A DOCUMENT?
- Time is one of our most precious non-renewable resources
- Prevents Dr. Wallace from unintentionally overcommitting herself to other activities when she has already agreed to support student reference needs
- Provides a predictable and expected feedback timeline for student
- Improves systemic efficiencies since it cuts down on back-and-forth emails (e.g., Are you done? Did I? Didn’t I?)
- Gives students a safety net to help ensure they have Dr. Wallace’s full attention to effectively respond to their needs
