Earn extra credit by engaging with the NExUS-MS program and the Hattiesburg Zoo through a hands-on learning experience! This unique opportunity allows you to expand your professional experience and gain extra credit in a course that collaborates with NExUS-MS.

Type #2: Work/Study Employment

Join the NExUS-MS program and earn $10/hour through a work/study employment opportunity in collaboration with the Hattiesburg Zoo! As a paid docent, you’ll complete weekly shifts, interacting with visitors, zoo staff, and the NExUS-MS team.

This hands-on experience allows you to build your professional capacity, contribute to the community, and earn money while being part of an impactful program.

Type #4: Vocational Inquiry Experience

 Engage in a unique vocational and career exploration experience with the NExUS-MS program in partnership with the Hattiesburg Zoo! ​This opportunity allows you to explore potential career paths, build professional skills, and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, real-world environment tailored to your vocational interests.
