Our approach to equity is embedded throughout all aspects of NExUS-MS activities from planning to implementation.
NExUS-MS activities create and examine the generative interplay of in/formal science education by paying close attention to the possibilities of ‘threshold spaces’. The in-between spaces of research, practice, identities, positionalities, and conceptual development are highly generative interactions for better understanding scalable transformative science education efforts in Mississippi and beyond.
These 'threshold spaces' are further depicted in the equity framework design by Dr. Maria Wallace with support with Dr. David Robinson-Morris (REImaginelution, LLC).
